The Winni’s brand was created and developed in line with our all-embracing principle of sustainability that inspires all the internal choices of the company, with the aim of creating and offering products that are safe, effective and accessible to all, but always respect the environment and living beings.
Our products are made from biodegradable, plant-based ingredients: the raw materials they are made from are quickly and completely decomposed in the environment, without polluting it. They are also tested to limit the possibility of allergic reactions and to be delicate even on the most sensitive skin. But we don’t stop there! Our entire production process has a low environmental impact, because we use energy only from renewable sources, and are committed to reducing plastic waste by producing refills in single-material bags and using a percentage of recycled plastic in every bottle.
You calculate the environmental impact of a product by considering its entire life cycle, from energy policies to raw materials, from packaging to disposal. Winni’s products are different by nature, because they are produced by an all-Italian company that thinks about the environment in every phase of production.
Thanks to a 2.6MW photovoltaic system (with a total area of 55,000 square metres spread over our 86,000 square metre premises in Cotignola) and a state-of-the-art co-generator, today our company is self-sufficient in terms of energy, and uses mainly renewable energy.
Our replacement of plastic bottles with doypack pouches (our “eco-format”) also actively contributes to protecting the environment: this low-impact packaging uses up to 78% less plastic than conventional bottles.
